Despite whispers and rumors from the gaming grapevine, Arkane Lyon’s Blade game is very much alive. The buzz started when the game was noticeably absent from the Xbox Games Showcase, sparking concerns about its fate.

Jeff Grubb, who’s known for his insider knowledge, initially suggested the project might be shelved. However, he recently clarified that while there are reasons we haven’t seen Blade lately, those reasons aren’t due to any issues with the game itself. So, Blade fans, you can exhale now; the Daywalker is still on his way to Paris to tackle a supernatural vampire emergency. If you’re curious about other exclusives, check out Gears of War: E-Day, another Xbox exclusive set to launch soon.

Arkane’s studio director, Dinga Bakaba, has reassured us that the team is “hard at work” and is aiming to meet the high standards they set for themselves. While we wait for more updates, it’s worth noting that Halo: Campaign Evolved will soon be making its way to PS5, Xbox, and PC.

Keep your eyes peeled for any new trailers or announcements about Blade. In the meantime, maybe dive into some other superhero action with Amy Hennig’s Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, which is still in development but promises to deliver a high-quality experience.
