Marvel Tōkon Blocked in 132 Countries Over PSN Rules

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is facing a major roadblock as it’s been blocked in 132 countries, all thanks to Sony’s controversial PSN linking requirement. If you’re a fighting game fan, this might be a bummer, especially if you were hoping to dive into the action from countries where this rule’s in effect.

What’s baffling players is that they can still see the game’s Steam page. This has left many scratching their heads. One player pointed out the inconsistency by recalling how they couldn’t even access games like God of War Ragnarok when PSN was mandatory. It’s a weird mix-up for sure!

Interestingly, Marvel Tōkon is expected to be a highlight at EVO 2027, yet places like Morocco, a host country, can’t legally access the game. Sony’s decision seems to echo their broader digital shift, like their plan to end disc-based games by 2028. As the July beta approaches, keep an eye on whether Sony will address these regional blocks or gamers will continue their workaround quests.
