Apple TV is kicking off the summer with a bang, thanks to its new thriller, Cape Fear. Inspired by Martin Scorsese’s 1991 classic, this show has critics buzzing and could be your next weekend binge.
Cape Fear follows a couple of attorneys who find themselves in deep trouble when a vengeful killer, whom they helped convict, is released. With big names like Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, and Patrick Wilson, it’s no wonder the show is already making waves. Bardem’s performance, in particular, is earning rave reviews, with TheWrap describing him as “deranged perfection.” If you’re into psychological thrillers, this might be right up your alley.
The series premieres on June 5th with two episodes, followed by weekly releases through July 31st.
