Exciting news for Fallout 76 fans: the game is finally getting a sweet upgrade for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, bringing better graphics and smoother performance. Why does this matter? Well, if you’ve been wandering Appalachia, you’ll soon enjoy it in glorious 4K!
Starting in June, Bethesda will roll out public testing for these next-gen versions. This means if you own Fallout 76, you’ll be able to download and test these upgrades. The full release is expected later this summer, assuming everything goes smoothly. Fans can look forward to 60 FPS, improved draw distances, and enhanced shadows. While the Xbox Series S and base PS5 have some resolution limits, the improvements are still worth the wait.
This upgrade comes on the heels of the Fallout 76: Infestations update and the success of the Fallout TV show. Although there’s chatter about a Fallout 3 remaster, nothing official has been announced yet. As you dive back into the wasteland, keep an eye out for potential crossplay features, which Bethesda is still considering.
Stay tuned for more updates, and keep your eyes peeled for any news on the rumored remasters or new content in the Fallout universe!
