Nine Sols is a stunning 2D action-platformer from Taiwanese indie studio RedCandleGames. Think Eastern fantasy meets Cyberpunk with some Sekiro-inspired combat thrown in. If you remember the buzz around their previous game, Devotion, you’ll know these folks mean business. Available for both PS4 and PS5, it’s a must-play for fans of sidescrolling adventures.
On the RPG side, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a gritty soulslike experience set in a dark-fantasy Ming Dynasty world. Developed by Chinese studio Leenzee, it follows a pirate warrior with amnesia battling monstrous creatures. PS5 users are in for a treat with this one.
