Xbox Game Pass just got a lot more appealing, and gamers are taking notice. Microsoft recently cut the prices for its Game Pass subscriptions, and it’s already making waves. Lower prices mean more players are jumping on board, giving Xbox a much-needed boost in user activity.
In a memo to staff, Xbox leader Asha Sharma revealed that since trimming the cost, subscriber growth is back on track, and folks are sticking around longer. The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now costs £17 ($23) a month, down from £23 ($30), while the PC Game Pass saw a smaller price drop. The catch? New Call of Duty releases won’t hit Game Pass right away, but will join the library about a year later.
Sharma is shaking things up at Xbox, making bold moves to strengthen the brand. With the Xbox Games Showcase just around the corner, fans are eager to see what’s next. Meanwhile, if you’re a PlayStation fan, don’t miss the current sale. And if you’re into streaming, check out Spotify’s latest iOS features.
Keep an eye on the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase for exciting announcements, and stay tuned for more updates on the Xbox brand’s evolution.
