YouTube TV’s Custom Multiview: What You Need to Know

YouTube TV just made streaming sports and shows a whole lot cooler by officially launching its fully custom multiview feature. This big update means more control for users over what they watch and how they watch it, which is great news for sports fans and channel surfers alike.

Now, YouTube TV subscribers can create their own multiview setup, mixing and matching channels from different packages, including popular ones like the NFL Sunday Ticket. This feature isn’t just limited to the top recommended channels anymore; you can pick any live content you fancy. Sadly, though, you can’t add video-on-demand content or certain family-friendly shows to your multiview lineup.

While this sounds awesome, it’s worth noting that a few older devices won’t support this feature—Google says that’s less than 5% of devices, so most folks are in the clear. As this feature rolls out, keep an eye on your YouTube TV app to start customizing your multiview. What will you be watching first?
