Heads up, Roku users! A pesky bug is messing with YouTube TV’s Live Guide, breaking the seamless viewing experience we all love. This glitch is causing playback hiccups for users browsing through the Live Guide, and it seems to be a Roku-specific issue. If you’re using Roku streaming sticks or smart TVs, you might have noticed this problem too.
Normally, the Live Guide lets you browse channels without interrupting your current stream, much like flipping through cable channels back in the day. But now, a gray screen pops up instead of your live stream, and switching channels takes a bit longer than usual. The issue has popped up on various Roku devices, including TCL and Hisense Roku TVs, not to mention the handy Roku Ultra.
While it’s frustrating, the bug doesn’t completely ruin YouTube TV, just makes it a bit annoying. Google hasn’t acknowledged or fixed the bug yet, which is a bummer. In the meantime, if you’re wondering about other streaming options, check out how Hulu Profiles now sync with the Disney+ app or see what’s new with YouTube’s AI tools. Stay tuned for updates, and maybe keep an eye on software updates for your Roku devices. Fingers crossed for a swift fix!
