While Spotify hasn’t spelled out exactly what makes you a ‘top fan,’ they’re looking at things like streams, shares, and other activity. But don’t think about cheating the system with bots—Spotify’s got eyes on that. The idea is to get tickets to genuine fans rather than scalpers, so it’s all about legit love for the music.
If you make the cut, you’ll get a heads-up via email and an in-app notification, offering you the chance to buy two tickets. This is rolling out in the U.S. first, and you’ll need to be 18 or older to get in on the action. The ticket sales won’t happen directly on Spotify; you’ll be directed to a partner site to complete your purchase. Spotify’s been making waves with new features lately, like their AI-driven fan remixes, so they’re definitely on a roll.
