Rolling out on September 23rd, this show taps into the growing trend of turning fictional tales into real-world competitions, much like their Squid Game reality show.
Teaming up with AI audio company ElevenLabs, and with the blessing of Wilder’s family, Netflix has recreated the iconic voice to guide contestants through their sugary challenges. This is part of Netflix’s ongoing collaboration with the Roald Dahl company, which also includes an upcoming animated feature slated for 2027.
The show itself promises a ‘high-stakes social experiment’ with 12 lucky golden ticket winners and their partners competing for the ultimate prize.
