Good news for Instagram fans—now you can stream Reels directly to your TV using Google Cast, making it easier to share those hilarious or inspiring clips with friends and family on the big screen.

Instagram just rolled out support for Google Cast, so now you can watch Reels on any TV that supports it, including Chromecast devices and TVs with built-in Cast like Vizio and LG. This means no extra apps needed! If you’ve got a Google TV or Android TV, you’re all set to enjoy Instagram’s TV app, which appeared on Google TV earlier this year. Meta’s new feature lets you cast Reels from your phone straight to your TV with just a few taps, making group viewings a breeze. While the feature is already live for many Android users, it’s being rolled out gradually, so if you don’t see the Cast icon yet, hang tight—it’s coming soon. With Instagram also testing a special “home” for horizontal content, it might be worth keeping an eye on future enhancements in streaming tech.

So, if you’re a fan of big-screen entertainment, keep checking your app for the Cast icon to take your Instagram scrolling to the next level!
