Big news for retro gaming fans: Xbox is bringing some of its classic original console games to PC, making it easier to revisit those nostalgia-filled adventures. This matters because it’s a big step in game preservation, especially as Sony moves away from physical discs.

Thanks to the Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC program, you can now play classics like Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and Fuzion Frenzy on your PC or handheld devices. They’re available across all Game Pass tiers, and if you already own a digital version on Xbox, you automatically get access on PC too.

These PC versions come with some cool tweaks, like customizable graphics settings and enhanced anti-aliasing. But heads up, you’ll need Windows 11 to dive into these retro worlds. As an added bonus, achievements are in the works to give you even more reasons to replay these gems. Meanwhile, Xbox is also exploring a program that might let you digitize your disc-based games, easing the transition to a more digital-centric gaming world. Curious about Xbox’s future plans? Keep an eye on this space!

Stay tuned as more original Xbox games make their way to PC. In the meantime, if you’re looking for something new to play, check out these exciting additions to Xbox Game Pass.
