Get ready to rev those engines, because Star Wars: Galactic Racer is zooming onto PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 6. If you’re a fan of racing games or love the Star Wars universe, this one’s for you!

Developed by folks who brought us Burnout and Need for Speed, Galactic Racer throws you into a high-speed world set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, featuring an unsanctioned racing circuit in the galaxy’s Outer Rim. In single-player mode, you play as a pilot named Shade, picking from three types of repulsorcraft, including the iconic podracers. You can even customize your ride as you form alliances and face off against rivals. Up for a challenge? Dive into online multiplayer and compete against up to 11 other players.

Thinking of grabbing it early? Pre-orders come with a snazzy livery and player banner for multiplayer modes. The game offers different editions: the standard for $60, a deluxe edition with extra goodies for $80, and a $160 collector’s edition featuring a cool model of a Kor Sarun landspeeder and other real-world collectibles. Looking to enhance your gaming setup? Check out LG’s UltraGear 5K Gaming Monitor for an immersive experience.

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as the release date approaches, and get ready to race across the galaxy!
