Walmart is rolling out another Google TV streaming stick, but don’t get too excited—it’s mostly more of the same. This new version, revealed by Lowpass, doesn’t bring any must-have upgrades, but it does switch things up behind the scenes.
The main change? Walmart is moving production from Vietnam to Mexico and changing manufacturers from Luxshare to Skyworth. The device, which still rocks the same model number as the 2023 edition, will continue to support Google TV. This comes as Walmart reportedly explores making its own Onn-branded TVs with Google TV tech. While the new stick’s release date remains a mystery, don’t hold your breath for any groundbreaking features. The current “Onn Full HD Streaming Device” still sells for a wallet-friendly $19.88.
