Xbox Unveils Nostalgic New Logo Amid Brand Revamp

Xbox just dropped a fresh logo, and it’s a total throwback to the good old days. This matters because Xbox is on a mission to win back fans and shake things up under new CEO Asha Sharma.

The new logo, described as “We are Xbox,” was revealed by Matt Booty, the new executive VP, on social media. It’s not a complete overhaul—the iconic bulging ‘X’ is still there—but they’ve jazzed it up with a translucent, glass-like look, ditching the old stark colors for a vibrant green. This color nods back to the original Xbox vibe from 2001, stirring up some serious nostalgia. Xbox hints at reviving classic feels, similar to its strategy of possibly bringing back exclusive games.

This logo refresh is part of Xbox’s larger “we can change” campaign following Phil Spencer’s departure. Sharma’s been busy—she’s scrapped last year’s controversial marketing, slashed Xbox Game Pass prices, and even teased a new Starter Edition. And if you’re into Discord, keep an eye out for possible new perks through a rumored partnership.

Keep your ears open for more Xbox news, especially if you’re a fan of the classics. Who knows what other surprises they have in store?
