YouTube just dropped an exciting new feature: AI-generated custom video feeds! This means you can now create a personalized playlist just by describing what you want to watch. Imagine having a video lineup tailored to your mood or interests, whether it’s workout tips, hobby hacks, or even guided meditations.
Starting now, users in the US can access this feature if they’re signed in on the YouTube mobile app or desktop. Simply click on the “Your custom feed” tab on your homepage, type in a prompt like “show me funny cat videos” or “deep-dive tech podcasts about AI,” and voilà, your unique video feed is ready to go. It’s like YouTube custom feeds on steroids!
This new tool is reminiscent of other platforms’ AI features, like Spotify’s prompted playlists. To keep your feed fresh, you can tweak your prompt anytime by editing the text box. Make sure your search and watch history are on, and if the AI isn’t hitting the mark, report issues through the feature’s menu.
Keen to try this out? Keep an eye on your YouTube homepage for the “Your custom feed” tab and start curating the perfect video list today!
